Transfer Students

Saint Joseph College welcomes qualified students from other colleges during both the fall and spring semesters. Women who are continuing or returning to education have long been a part of the Saint Joseph College community. As a women's college, our goal is to assist women of all ages and stages to achieve their educational goals. Our size makes it possible to work closely with each student to develop the program that will best meet her unique needs.

Application Procedure

  • Submit a completed application, along with a $50.00 non-refundable fee, to the Office of Admissions.
  • Request an official high school transcript or official General Education Diploma (G.E.D.) be sent directly to the Office of Admissions.
  • Submit official transcript(s) from all college(s) previously attended, including evidence of degrees earned. You may be asked to submit a catalogue and/or course description(s) from the college(s) you attended.

Once you have completed the application process, you will be notified of the admissions decision on a "rolling" basis. Following acceptance, students will meet with an academic advisor and review the number of transfer credits. To indicate acceptance of the offer of admission, the applicant must complete the confirmation form that will accompany the acceptance letter and submit a non-refundable deposit of $250.00. This deposit will be credited toward the first semester bill.

Nursing applicants are not reviewed on a rolling basis; specific deadlines do apply. For the Fall 2007 semester, all applications must be complete by April 1, 2007. Please contact the Office of Admissions for more details.

Matriculated full-time students are eligible for both need-based and merit-based financial assistance. For more specific details, please refer to the Student Financial Services section.
