Admitted Student Book Clubs
St. John’s Book Clubs are an opportunity to meet your incoming Johnnie classmates, and engage with them in lively discussions on non-program readings, ranging from poetry, to literature, to metaphysics, science, and beyond. Each group meets once a week for one-hour sessions over four weeks. These are casual, tuition-free, non-curricular spaces—just an opportunity to connect you to your community, and to do what Johnnies do best (and an opportunity to read more books, since we know you don’t do enough of that…).
In the spirit of cultivating productive discussion spaces, slots for each group are limited, so register ASAP! We look forward to perusing with you. Here are some of the books we are reading next:
